One of the most valuable services available for people enrolled in WIA programs is networking opportunities and exposure to employers.
Networking groups are open to the public. Members share leads. Employers are invited as guest speakers. Click here to find your county's networking group.
Assistance in contacting employers - If job seekers enrolled in WIA meet the objectives set in their job search plan, Workforce System staff will contact employers on their behalf. Arrangements for short work assignments may be made for you to get started in a new occupation.
